MINSK, 10 June (BelTA) – The Fourth International Anti‑Fascist Congress will be held in Minsk from 25 to 27 June, the press service of the Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The main theme of the congress is the fight against the spread of fascist and Nazi ideas, the strengthening of international security, and the defense of historical truth.
On 26 June, a plenary session of the congress will take place at the Central House of Officers of the Armed Forces of Belarus. Representatives from several dozen countries are expected to speak, both in person and via video conference. Invited guests include veterans of the Great Patriotic War and former underage prisoners of Nazi concentration camps.
On the same day, thematic exhibitions will be held, open to all visitors from 10:00 to 17:00. Exhibits will be presented by the National Academy of Sciences, the National Library of Belarus, the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings, and the Defense Ministry of Belarus. An exhibition from the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation is also planned.
