The Greenland men’s national football team won bronze at CONIFA Euro 2026, which was held in Carate Brianza in Italy from 1 to 7 June.
In group A, Greenland met Padania and Raetia, while the bronze match was played against Canton Ticino from Switzerland.
The Island Games await
The good performance at ConIFA Euro 2026 has strengthened the desire to continue playing international football.
– To achieve the best results in football, we play international tournaments for gold.

– I hope that we will do well at the Island Games next year in the Faroe Islands, although I expect the Games to be tough for us, says Patrick O. Frederiksen.
