The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahuannounced that the Iran it is not going to acquire nuclear weapons, regardless of whether or not an agreement is reached with the United States.
“My life’s mission was to fight Iran’s nuclear program. With or without a deal, Iran will not acquire nuclear weapons,” Netanyahu said in a statement on Monday.
“We saved Israel from the threat of (Iranian) nuclear annihilation. If we hadn’t acted, Iran would already have nuclear bombs. We saved the state of Israel from destruction,” he added.
Netanyahu:

Because one must understand: Iran was racing towards nuclear weapons, and it was racing to bury its nuclear and missile industries deep underground.

In addition, Netanyahu claimed that Israel caused enormous damage to Iran’s economy during the war, stressing that “some rate it at a trillion dollars.”
“The fight is not over. We should continue to be vigilant and defend ourselves whenever necessary,” Netanyahu noted, stressing that Israeli forces will remain in the “dead zone” (security zone) in Lebanon for as long as necessary.
