According to the online economy report, quoted by ISNA, Colonel Nasser Qalinia explained the latest traffic and weather situation of the country’s roads and communication axes and stated: Currently, the Haraz axis in the area of Chelaw highway is facing heavy traffic on the return routes.
He added: Heavy traffic has been reported on the Pardis-Tehran freeway between Tunnel No. 3 and Tunnel No. 1.
Referring to the state of the country’s northern axes, Colonel Qalinia said: Traffic is smooth on Chalus, Firouzkoh, Old Tehran-Bomhan axis, Tehran-North Freeway, Qazvin-Rasht Freeway, and Tehran-Paradis Freeway.
The head of Faraja Highway Police Information and Traffic Control Center continued: Chalus and Firouzkoh axes are foggy in the heights and drivers should move forward with safe speed, appropriate length distance and full attention. Other northern axes do not have any atmospheric interventions.
He clarified: There is heavy traffic on the Qazvin-Karaj-Tehran freeway, between the Shahid Kalantari terminal and the Clock bridge, as well as in the areas of Garmdara and Wardvard.
Colonel Qalinia noted: Heavy traffic has also been reported on the Saveh-Tehran freeway, between Nasim Shahr and Ahmedabad Mostofi, the Shahryar-Tehran axis in some sections, and the Varamin-Tehran highway in the area of Ghaleno.
He also informed about the occurrence of fog phenomenon in some areas of Mazandaran province and asked the drivers to be informed about the latest condition of the roads before starting the trip and to ensure a safe trip for themselves and other road users by following the rules and regulations.
The head of Faraja Highway Police Information and Traffic Control Center announced at the end: Pataveh-Dehdasht axis is still blocked and it is not possible to travel on this route.
