The New Cairo Prosecution Office, under the supervision of Counselor Ahmed Al-Saeed, First Public Prosecutor, decided to detain Sabri Nakhnoukh and his brother’s son, known in the media as “John,” along with three other defendants, for a period of four days as a precautionary measure pending the ongoing investigations into the incident.
A team from the Public Prosecution investigated the case, and the Prosecution charged the defendants with a number of charges, including theft by force, bullying, and assault, as well as damaging private property, according to the results of the initial investigations and the ongoing investigations.
The details of the incident are due to the security services receiving a report stating that a quarrel had occurred inside a car showroom in the New Cairo area, between a number of people, including Sabri Nakhnoukh And his brother’s son.
Immediately, the security forces moved to the site of the report, and were able to control the situation and seize the involved parties, before taking them to the relevant police station to take the necessary legal measures.
The investigation authorities also began listening to the statements of the parties to the incident, and reviewing the investigations and their reports, to determine the circumstances of the incident and determine the legal responsibilities of each party.
The Public Prosecution continues its investigations into the case, in preparation for taking the necessary decisions and legal measures according to what investigations reveal during the coming period.
