Approximately 860 thousand of these sacrifices were made abroad. Diyanet made a profit of 2 billion lira from the overseas sacrifice organization, which reached 6-7 billion lira. The domestic sacrifice fee, which was 13 thousand 500 liras in 2025, increased by 33 percent to 18 thousand liras in 2026. Sacrifice prices, which were 5 thousand 450 liras abroad, increased by 28.5 percent to 7 thousand liras.
1000 officials went abroad for the sacrifice organization. These officers only supervised the slaughtering process. Intermediaries took part in the purchase of sacrificed animals and the transfer of money. It has been reported that in some countries the profit rate reaches 60 percent.

Diyanet carries out animal sacrifice abroad with partner organizations. It receives great support, especially from community and sect foundations, and makes payments to these structures. İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez asked from which country, from which company, through which intermediaries, the sacrificial animals were purchased and where they were slaughtered. Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, on the other hand, announced that 877 thousand 281 sacrifice shares were cut by proxy only in 2025 and did not provide any other information.
