One of the protesters who has joined the daily gatherings in the capital for the resignation of Edi Rama, has declared that she will continue participating in the protest until the demand for the resignation of the prime minister is met.
She said that the pressures and attempts at intimidation have not affected the protesters’ decision to continue the rallies day after day.
“I don’t stop either from the statuses on social networks you make to demean and discredit us, nor from the intimidating phone calls we receive every day not to go out in protest, nor from the patronageists you put behind us to eavesdrop on us”she said.
The young woman emphasized that Albanians have lost their fear and that they will not withdraw from the protest, but will continue to be present in the square every day.
Protester: I participated in the protest from the first day and I will not stop until Rama resigns. I don’t stop either from the statuses on social networks you make to demean and discredit us, nor from the intimidating phone calls we receive every day not to go out in protest, nor from the patronages you put behind us to eavesdrop on us.
Fear is long dead. We don’t back down, we don’t shut up and we don’t give up. Down with the patronage. You will have us in the square every day until our voice is heard. Rama resigns.
