Patrick Toussaint has been elected as a new member advice of the FIS after obtaining the necessary votes during theGeneral Assembly of the entity that is being celebrated in Serbia in the framework of Annual Congress. The vice president of FAE he had already been a member of the board of directors of the world organization between the 2022 and the 2024when he was out coinciding with the disappointment of the candidacy ofAndorra 2029 to host the world alpine skiing
Toussaint had now submitted a candidacy to become a member of the body again and was the tenth most voted candidate with 79 votes.

During this assembly of the FIS the change in the presidency has also been confirmed, with Alexander Ospeltof Liechtensteinprevailing by only one vote of difference (65 to 64) over the hitherto supreme leader, Johan Eliaschwho had always been very close to Andorraand had praised the FAE for the organization of the tests of the World Cup as well as the nominations to host the world.
