Ceremonial celebrations of the State Protection Service Day were held in Warsaw. “On this day, we also remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of the Republic of Poland and did not return from their duties. The memory of their sacrifice helps shape the ethos of the formation,” wrote President Karol Nawrocki in a letter addressed to officers and employees of the State Protection Service, which was read during the ceremony by the Head of his Office, Paweł Szefernaker.
The official celebrations of the State Protection Service Day were organized in Warsaw.
In the letter read by the Head of the Chancellery of the President, Paweł Szefernaker, President Karol Nawrocki extended his heartfelt congratulations, words of recognition, and thanks for service to all officers and employees of the State Protection Service.
He emphasized that the duties of the Service’s officers and staff require not only high qualifications and specialized training, but also readiness to act in all conditions and at any time.
“I would like to express my special gratitude to you for your daily efforts on behalf of those under the protection of the State Protection Service. This work often remains unseen, yet it is precisely its quality that ensures the smooth conduct of the most important state events, public ceremonies, and meetings of national and international importance,” he noted.
The President added that on this solemn day, we also remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of the Republic of Poland and did not return from their duties.
“The memory of their sacrifice helps shape the ethos of the formation, which one joins out of a sense of service and responsibility for the security of Poland and its citizens,” he stressed.
