Ernest Kurti, Amanti Jeshili, Eljo Dyrmishi and Marjo Myftari, 4 managers of a call center in Tirana, have been handcuffed by the police after being suspected of fraud schemes, while 49 employees have been placed under investigation.

A call center was discovered on “Gjergj Fishta” boulevard, where computer fraud was carried out.
4 organizers and leaders of this event were arrested in the act.
49 employees, who were caught red-handed in this environment, are being prosecuted.
107 devices were seized through which the fraud was carried out, as well as other materials that will serve the investigation.
As a result of the immediate intervention, after the information provided on the operative route, that the second floor of an object on “Gjergj Fishta” boulevard was a call center where computer fraud was carried out, the specialists of the Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, in cooperation with the specialists of the Sector for the Investigation of Cyber Crimes of DVP Tirana, finalized the coded operation “Hold on” at the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office.
As part of the operation, citizens EK, 28 years old, AJ, 21 years old, ED, 21 years old and MM, 19 years old, who were suspected of administering this activity and/or leading the groups of employees, were arrested in the act.
Also, 49 citizens were caught red-handed in the premises of the facility, during work, for whom the proceedings began in free status.
With the quality of material evidence, 94 computers, 11 mobile phones, 2 iPads and other materials of investigative interest were seized from the environment adapted to dozens of workstations.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office of Tirana, for further actions.
