A 911 call alerted about the attack

According to the story received by the interveners, at least two of the suspects were carrying long weapons.

“Presumably there was a struggle and the eastern citizen received aa cutting wound to the head”Paiva indicated.

No cell phones or belongings were stolen.

One of the aspects that most draws the attention of researchers is that the alleged attackers no valuables were taken who remained inside the truck.

According to the Police, two were found in the passenger compartment. high end cell phones and other personal belongings that were not stolen.

“If it was for robbery, they would have taken the cell phones or tried to access the bank accounts”the commissioner reasoned.

The victim herself reportedly told investigators that the men did not demand money or property from her, but instead tried to transfer her against her will.

This detail strengthens the hypothesis that the main objective was the person and not the objects they were transporting.

    Background raises questions

The investigation takes on an additional dimension due to the judicial history of Jin Xiaodi.

The Chinese citizen was detained weeks ago by agents of the Automotive Control Department when he was driving a luxurious 2024 model Toyota Land Cruiser with allegedly irregular documentation.

In that procedure, the foreigner initially identified himself with a Paraguayan ID in the name of Eason Tay Jina supposed 39-year-old Filipino citizen. However, researchers later confirmed that it was Jin Xiaodi.

    Life sentence and international alert

According to the background of the case, Xiaodi records a life sentence in China for a millionaire scam estimated at about 10 million dollars.

In international records it also appears with a red notice, although the main cause is related to a scheme for illegally collecting deposits from the publica figure that in Paraguay could be equated to crimes such as scam either trust injury.

According to available data, the Asian citizen arrived in South America in 2014 and developed commercial activities in both Brazil and Paraguay.

In Paraguayan territory, he is linked to the company Enmos SA, dedicated to crypto mining business.

    Several hypotheses on the table

Commissioner Paiva admitted that the victim’s background forces investigators to analyze different lines of investigation.

“We believe it could have been an assault situation, but we do not rule out other hypotheses either.”, he noted.

The Police are carrying out tests on the truck used by Xiaodi and are seeking to extract fingerprints and other evidence that will allow the identification of those responsible.

Meanwhile, the Public Ministry He has already been informed of the case and must determine whether the episode constitutes an attempted kidnapping, an unlawful deprivation of liberty or another punishable act.
