The President gave instructions on preserving and managing well the Sokwang Temple, a precious cultural heritage. Then he asked an official about a good mineral spring, and went to the resort, guided by the official.
The President tasted mineral waters. There is a saying that the mineral waters in the Sokwang Temple are good, and they actually seem good as I drank them, the President said.
The President kindly asked an official of the holiday camp about the medicinal properties of mineral waters.
The official hesitated to reply.
Noting that people should not drink mineral waters just because they are good, but drink them according to chronic internal diseases, the President gave instructions to analyze mineral waters and study what kind of diseases it is good for.
Later, the prospecting of mineral waters was conducted in the area around the Sokwang Temple thanks to the benevolent measure of the President, and in the course of this, several more mineral springs were found.
And a sanatorium was built in the area, turning the area into a scenic spot. -0-
