Thousands of Albanians participated today in the 11th day of the protest.
Among the speakers was journalist Renaldo Salianji, who said that Albanians should stay united and not be divided, not give up until their demands are met.
“We will never accept being deceived by these politicians for the rest of our lives, because a people cannot be deceived by one person. We must change it and bring a new Albania. We are the voice of all those who cannot come here, those grandparents who are abroad and miss their grandchildren. We are the voice of those who stole their medicine. We are the voice of Oncology patients. We are the voice of those Albanians who were forced to flee and today are the first in the countries where they are. Today we are not afraid, that this revolution is not only for us, but also for our children. Do not be afraid, do not be divided and do not fall prey to their provocations”.
Salianji further said that the Albanian protesters were the voice of all Albania:
“They can never deceive an entire people for life and we can never accept being deceived by these policies. Albanians are looking for a new Albania, an Albania where it is not a shame to be honest. We must change it and bring a new Albania. Today we are the voice of all those who do not have the opportunity to come and follow us. Do not be afraid of this dictatorship”, he said.
