The common council approved one yesterday extraordinary credit in the amount of 80,000 euros to grant a loan to the companyt Camprabassa, in charge of managing Naturland. The objective of the measure is cover specific cash needs while the company and the municipality work on the operations to restore the assets and restructure the debt.
As already explained by diary a few days ago, in the coming weeks camprabassa will approve the transformation of six million euros of debt from the company to the common in shares in order to rebalance the net worth and the social capital in order to avoid technical bankruptcy. At the same time, the municipality negotiates with the banks a new financial plan with quotas that can be assumed by society.
On the other hand, yesterday’s council session approved the reorganization of the Public Works, Urbanism and Cadastre organizational charts. The changes include the addition of four new technicians to the Department of Urbanisman area that has been suffering from a lack of staff and specialization for years. The recruitment procedure is already underway. The Lauredian Consul Major, Cerni Cairatstressed that the technicians work “under minimum” at a time with such important projects on the table as the revision of the parish planning and urbanism plan (POUP).
The four new places they will be occupied by profiles qualified technicians in areas such as engineering or superior architecture. Its functions will be mainly linked to the management of public works, urban processing and cadastral management.
During the council it was also reported that the final cost of the repair and remodeling of the Cultural Center Lauredià will be placed among the 14 and the 14.5 million of euros, as explained by the consul major.
