Homs, May 31 (SANA) More than 800 children and their families gathered in Homs on Saturday for a cultural and entertainment event marking Eid al-Adha, featuring theatre performances, educational activities and interactive shows.
Organized by the Homs Directorate of Culture in cooperation with the Happy Magic Children and Family Theatre Group, the event transformed the venue into a festive space filled with laughter, music and family activities.

Children enjoyed comedy performances, magic shows, face painting, competitions and appearances by popular cartoon characters, creating a vibrant holiday atmosphere throughout the day.
Organizers said the program was designed to combine entertainment with educational and cultural content, encouraging creativity, self-confidence and positive social values among young participants.
The director of the Happy Magic troupe said the event blended fun with awareness-raising activities, including performances promoting community responsibility and environmental awareness through light-hearted storytelling and comedy.
The celebration attracted strong participation from families, many of whom welcomed the opportunity to spend the Eid holiday in a cultural setting that offered children both recreation and learning experiences.
Parents attending the event said such initiatives help strengthen community ties and provide children with opportunities to engage in creative and social activities outside the classroom.
The event forms part of ongoing efforts by cultural institutions in Homs to expand community-based cultural programs and create spaces where children and families can celebrate, learn and share in the city’s cultural life.
