    13 Missiles and 17 Drones Intercepted Over Residential Areas in Kuwait


    KUWAIT CITY, Jun 3: The Ministry of Defense announced that the armed forces monitored and dealt with 13 ballistic missiles and 17 hostile drones that entered Kuwaiti airspace over several residential areas, resulting in the fall of some shrapnel.

    In a media briefing, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Saud Al-Otayan, said the developments come in the context of what he described as “sinful Iranian aggressions” against the State of Kuwait. He added that the armed forces continue to carry out operational measures to counter threats and protect national security.


    The Official Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Saud Al-Otaibi, said that what he described as “sinful Iranian aggression” led to the targeting of civilian and vital facilities, including Kuwait International Airport, resulting in deaths and injuries among several individuals. He stressed the importance of public safety in the wake of the incident, urging citizens and residents to strictly avoid approaching affected areas, as well as refraining from filming, photographing, or circulating any images or video clips of the targeted sites, shrapnel fall locations, or remnants of interception operations on social media, warning that such actions could endanger security and violate official directives.
