The Andorran police participated in the first meeting of the project Iberviapolthe new Ibero-American Traffic Police Networkheld between Madrid and theTraffic School of the Civil Guardto Merida.
The meeting has served to constitute this new body, which was born with the aim of addressing road safety as a global challenge and promoting shared solutions between police forces from different Ibero-American countries.
The Andorran Police have been invited by theTraffic Grouping of the Civil Guard and participated through the head of the Research Group ofTraffic accidents and of Motorized Traffic Group.

Iberviapol wants to become one space for strategic coordination to share information, best practices, action protocols, training and technological tools aimed at modernizing police work in traffic matters.
The network will also promote preventive actions, pilot projects and awareness campaigns with the aim of reducing accidents and improving road safety.
