KUWAIT CITY, Jun 2: The Ministry of Interior has announced the successful apprehension of escaped inmates following coordinated and intensive security operations carried out by the General Department of Criminal Investigations, with support from Special Security Forces and the Police Aviation Wing.
According to the Ministry, the fugitives were tracked down through precise investigations and continuous field monitoring, leading to their locations being identified and their subsequent arrest. Authorities confirmed that the operation was executed with high efficiency and close coordination between relevant security agencies.
During the operation, security personnel also recovered two firearms in possession of the suspects, which were seized in accordance with established procedures.
The Ministry stated that the arrested individuals have been referred to the competent authorities for completion of legal proceedings. It further emphasized that security forces will continue to act firmly against anyone attempting to violate the law or threaten public safety, stressing that public security remains a strict red line and that all offenders will be pursued without exception.
