The general director of the Metro, Adrian Rubalcavareported that, after a meeting with the leader of the National Union of Workers of the Collective Transport System, Fernando Espinothe necessary agreements were reached to recover the full operation of the trains in the 12 network lines.
On social networks, Rubalcava detailed that they reached relevant agreements to strengthen the system maintenanceredouble efforts jointly to provide better service and generate working conditions that recognize the great effort that workers make daily.
“The safety of users will continue to be our top priority. Starting tomorrow, the service will operate completely normally. We will continue working as a team in favor of Mexico City,” he commented.
In a statement, it was stated that the General Management and the union representation agreed on the importance of working as a team in favor of the facility maintenance fixed and rolling stock, as well as in the requests of the working base.
Adrián Rubalcava Suárez, and Fernando Espino Arévalo highlighted the willingness to dialogue on the part of the head of Government of Mexico City, Clara Brugadato respond to union proposals, in favor of the user public.
Rubalcava Suárez highlighted that there is agreement with the union representation and it is a priority of the head of Government to maintain the tracks and trains, as well as maintain safety standards in the operation. At the same time, he endorsed the administration’s commitment to teaming up with the organization’s workers, who undoubtedly do an extraordinary job.

The National Union of Workers of the Collective Transport System (SNTSTC) recognized the head of Government, Clara Brugadaby the disposition shown for meet the needs of the Metro, and the dialogue with the director of the organization, Adrián Rubalcava, which will allow progress in the construction of agreements for the benefit of the service and its workers.
The Union thanked the Metro director for his presence in the workers’ offices, as well as his willingness to establish a direct dialogue with the working base, with the aim of addressing and providing solutions to pending issues that have required priority attention for some time.
Among the topics addressed, the SNTSTC highlighted the need to have a sufficient budget that allows guaranteeing the comprehensive maintenance of trains, tracks and fixed facilities, as well as attention to the work approaches previously explained.

“We consider that this approach represents a fundamental step to advance in the construction of fair agreementstransparent and aimed at strengthening the service, for the benefit of both the users who depend on this system daily, as well as those who operate it,” the Union noted.
And he added: “We trust that this space for dialogue will be developed successfully and institutional commitmentand that will lead to concrete solutions that contribute to improving working conditions, safety and the quality of the service provided to citizens.
We reiterate our willingness to participate in a responsible, purposeful and constructive manner in this process, prioritizing at all times the collective well-being and the stability of the System.”
