KCNA | Article | Senior Party and Government Officials Visit Kumsusan Palace of Sun

Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) — All the people in the DPRK celebrating the auspicious Day of the Sun in the historic first year’s advance for realizing the fighting programme clarified by the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea are extending eternal glory to President Kim Il Sung, the founder of socialist Korea and the great sage of the revolution.

Senior Party and government officials visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on April 15, the 114th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there were Pak Thae Song and Jo Yong Won, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, and other senior officials of the Party and the government, leading officials of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly, the Cabinet, ministries and national agencies and commanding officers of the armed forces organs.

A flower basket from Comrade Kim Jong Un was laid at the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Also, placed were flower baskets in the name of the WPK Central Committee, the DPRK State Affairs Commission, the SPA Standing Committee of the DPRK and the DPRK Cabinet.

The participants paid high tribute to the statues of the great leaders.

At the halls where the great leaders lie in state, the participants made deep bows to them, praying for their immortality.

All the participants pledged to demonstrate before the world the dignity and might of the DPRK by upholding with single-minded loyalty the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un, who is dynamically ushering in an era of historic changes for the prosperity of our state and the wellbeing of the people, a period of comprehensive development of socialist construction, under the uplifted banner of the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism. -0-
