The Greenland Police moved out on Monday in connection with an episode of violence in Nuuk.
Monday afternoon at 15.47 Greenland Police received a report of an episode of violence at an address in Nuuk. This is reported by duty manager Poul Kreutzmann to Sermitsiaq.
The police moved out and in that connection arrested a 42-year-old man.
The man is suspected of violence against a 64-year-old, and the warden describes the violence as family-related. The victim is OK under the circumstances, says the warden.
The 42-year-old man has several other pending cases of dangerous crimes, and therefore it has been decided that the man must be produced in the circuit court later on Tuesday with a view to detention.
