The spokesman of the provincial police headquarters, Hashmatullah Rahmani, told Bakhtar News Agency that this incident took place this afternoon in Hazrat Sultan district, as a result of which three people, including two men and one woman, died and seven others were injured.
According to him, the injured have been sent to Samangan Provincial Hospital for treatment.
According to the preliminary information of the Samangan Police Headquarters, the cause of the accident was the carelessness of the car drivers and added that further investigations are underway.
Also, the police headquarters has asked all the drivers to observe the traffic laws and precautions while driving in order to prevent traffic accidents.
