Prime Minister Edi Rama, from Shkodra, has commented on the slogan “Albania of Albanians, death to traitors”, in the recent protests for the project in Zvërnec and the demands for his resignation, describing it as an expression that, according to him, incites violence.
“Albania of Albanians, death to traitors” is a slogan that has been the slogan that inspired violence and inspired the mistake that happened to a country as big and with so many tragedies as Germany”, he said.
Rama further said that “what would happen to us Albanians if the Albanians said “Italy belongs to the Italians, run away from where you came from”, as if Greece said “Greece belongs to the Greeks, run away from there where you came from”, and so on?”.
Rama from Shkodra: “Albania of Albanians, death to traitors” is a slogan that has been the slogan that inspired violence and inspired the mistake that happened to a country as big and with so many tragedies as Germany.
“Albania of the Albanians, death to the traitors” is something that today really wears the skin and makes the flesh grain. Because what would happen to us Albanians if the Albanians said “Italy belongs to the Italians, run away from where you came from”, as if Greece said “Greece belongs to the Greeks, run away from where you came”, and so on? And this kind of tragedy has happened to the world, it is not something new. Then the climax comes when they call us destroyers.
They tell me that there have also been people who are ours, people who vote for us, daughters and sons of families who vote for the SP, but what are they still doing today? Do they protect Albania from me, from you and from SP? Protect nature from me, from you and from SP?
Yes, we have with us a 10-year history of the struggle to protect nature from those who were its greatest danger. We are not the destroyers, we are the saviors, because it seems like a big and excessive word, but if the flamingos who are pretending to be gods had their mouths to speak, they would tell their bitter story.
They are migratory birds, they do not have a permanent habitat in Albania. They would tell the bitter story of how they didn’t come to Albania because the couple was waiting for them with rifles, of those who were training to take marks and kill birds.
If the curly pelican were taken and told the story with the national ocar of Divjaka, then it would show everyone that today the curly pelican is a protected species and is increasing in Albania, while before the hunting ban the curly pelican was also targeted.
