The civil protests that started against the project in Zvërnec have entered the seventh day, while the gatherings and marches have spread not only in several cities of Albania, but also in important centers where the Albanian diaspora lives.
After the protest that took place in the morning in Zvërnec, the protesters gathered again in the afternoon around 18:00 in “Skënderbej” square in Tirana.
As in the previous days, they marched towards the Prime Minister’s Office, where they continued to chant against the government and the project they oppose.
During the march, the participants chant slogans like: “Albania of Albanians, not of traitors”, while also demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Protesters have made it clear that this revolt has exceeded the limits of a single cause. “We are not here only for Zvërnec”, was the motto, underlining that the battle is against an entire governing model that is infringing on the national interests and properties of Albanians.
