It’s official: Nurse Harriet Sperling (45) and Peter Phillips (48), the son of Princess Anne (75), tied the knot on Saturday at All Saints Church in Kemble near Cirencester – in front of King Charles III. (77), Queen Camilla (78), Heir to the throne Prince William (43) and Princess Kate (44). Sperling is now part of the royal family. This is Peter Phillips’ second marriage.
Princess Kate makes an elegant appearance
The couple left the church beaming with joy after the wedding. A wedding celebration is now planned in Gatcombe Park, Princess Anne’s estate, the British “Express” reported on the marriage. The newlywed waved to onlookers from a car that took her to the wedding reception, her husband was at her side.
In addition to those already mentioned, Princesses Beatrice (37) and Eugenie (36) also appeared at the wedding together with their husbands. Prince Edward (62) and his wife Sophie (61) also celebrated their son’s wedding together with Princess Anne (75). However, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were not there.
Their mother, Princess Kate, enthusiastic royal fans with an elegant appearance. According to the Daily Mail, the 44-year-old wore a £750 Roland Mouret dress and a matching summer hat as she arrived at All Saints Church alongside her husband Prince William. King Charles misses wedding reception
The King and Queen will not attend the wedding reception at Princess Anne’s Gatcombe Park estate, where Peter Phillips and his sister Zara Tindall (45) grew up. Camilla and Charles traveled on to the Epsom Derby after the wedding, as pictures showed of their arrival there. It is expected that their majesties will present the winner’s prize at the horse race.
Peter Phillips has two daughters with his ex-wife Autumn Phillips (48), to whom he was married for 13 years. Harriet Sperling also has a daughter from a previous relationship. The son of Princess Anne and Mark Phillips proposed to Harriet Sperling in the summer of 2025. The couple is said to have met at a sporting event attended by their children.
