Arctic Hub now invites PhD students to apply for participation in the major research competition Paasisavut 2026.
People who are currently undertaking a PhD program or have completed their PhD. within the past two years, can apply to participate in the competition until 1 September, Arctic Hub informs in a press release.

The research competition takes place in Katuaq on Friday 13 November and will be broadcast live on KNR TV.
The winner receives a prize of DKK 50,000, informs Arctic Hub.
Arctic Hub also informs that the panel of judges for this year’s competition will be announced on 6 August.

Previous winners
In 2023, Nick Duelund won the competition with his research into children’s vision.
At the latest edition of Paasisavut in 2024, Regine Møller won with her research on the population’s view of sustainable development in East Greenland.
