    Heads and officials of funerals in the governorates praised the contents of the annual meeting with General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, in the context of preparation for the Ashura season, stressing that the minister’s speech carried important national messages that reflected the state’s keenness to strengthen community partnership and establish direct communication with the various components of society, in a way that contributes to the success of the Ashura season and maintaining the security and stability of the nation.

    They stressed that the annual meeting embodies an approach based on mutual trust and joint cooperation between official bodies and funerals, noting that the national and regulatory contents proposed by the Minister of the Interior enhance everyone’s responsibility to work to make the season a success and hold religious rituals in an atmosphere of commitment, order and respect for the law.

    The heads of the funerals explained that the minister’s speech reflected a clear vision based on a balance between preserving the freedom to perform religious rituals and maintaining security and stability, which reflects the civilized approach that characterizes the Kingdom of Bahrain in organizing religious seasons and promoting coexistence and harmony among all the people of the country.

    They indicated that the funerals will continue their full cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and the concerned authorities, and will work to adhere to all regulatory instructions and guidelines, ensuring the success of the Ashura season and its emergence in a civilized image that reflects Bahrain’s status and its pioneering experience in community partnership.

    The heads and officials of the funerals stressed that loyalty to the homeland and its wise leadership represents a firm and stable principle that does not accept compromise, stressing that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, is the leader of the country, its guardian, and the symbol of its national unity, and that rallying around the wise leadership constitutes a solid foundation for preserving the Kingdom’s security, stability, and unity.

    In this context, they stressed the importance of keeping religious platforms away from political tensions, and for their message to remain based on spreading religious, moral and national values ​​and enhancing awareness and social responsibility, stressing the rejection of any attempts to mix religion with political projects or exploit religious rituals to serve agendas that are not consistent with Bahrain’s interests and national constants.

    They added that Bahraini funerals have always been societal institutions that play an important role in promoting social cohesion and consolidating the values ​​of love, tolerance and national belonging, and will continue to perform this role in cooperation with official authorities in a way that serves the nation and citizens.

    They pointed out that the annual meeting is a platform for dialogue and joint coordination in preparation for the Ashura season, and an opportunity to confirm community partnership and maintain security and stability.

    They stressed that Bahrain will remain, God willing, an oasis of security and security, and that the people of the country form one family united by national belonging, coexistence and brotherhood, stressing the importance of joint action to preserve these national gains and enhance the process of development and stability.

    They expressed their deep thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, for the continuous support and care given to Husseini funerals and processions, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for following up on the implementation of the directives of His Majesty the King and providing everything that would facilitate the revival of Husseini rituals.

    They also appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Interior and the support, facilities and services it provides that contribute to the success of the Ashura season annually, stressing that adherence to regulations and laws is a shared national responsibility that contributes to maintaining security, stability and the safety of everyone.

    They pointed out that the Minister of the Interior’s speech was characterized by clarity and comprehensiveness, and focused on the importance of security and community peace and preserving the privacy of the Husseini rituals passed down in Bahrain from generation to generation, in addition to affirming the continued support of the state and the provision of various capabilities and services necessary to ensure that the rituals are held with ease and smoothness.

    The heads of the funerals affirmed that sovereignty and leadership in Bahrain are represented by His Majesty the King, and that religious rituals were and will continue to be protected and preserved under the auspices of the leadership and the government, stressing their keenness to live up to the expectations of the wise leadership, and to continue full cooperation with the official authorities.

    They added that the freedom to hold Husseini processions and religious councils is guaranteed within the framework of the law, expressing their appreciation for the support and interest these rituals receive from His Majesty the King, His Highness the Crown Prince and all official authorities, stressing their commitment to maintaining security and public order and cooperating with various concerned parties.

    They explained that the success of the Ashura season requires everyone’s solidarity and cooperation in order to commemorate the occasion in a civilized manner that reflects the religious and national values ​​​​of Bahraini society, stressing that the heads of funerals bear a direct responsibility in following up on any violations or violating practices and working to address them before they reach the official authorities.

    They also stressed that the Interior Minister’s speech carried a paternal character and important national messages calling for strengthening cooperation with official authorities and preserving the Ashura season as a national and religious occasion of which all Bahrainis are proud.

    They pointed out that the Minister’s confirmation of the continuation of the arrangements and facilities in place in previous seasons sent messages of reassurance and relief to everyone, and reflected the state’s keenness to maintain an atmosphere of stability and coexistence, stressing that any challenges or external influences will not undermine the unity, cohesion, and pride of Bahrainis in their homeland and leadership.

    The heads of the funerals concluded their statements by affirming their full readiness to make the Ashura season a success, appreciating the support, coordination and services provided by the competent authorities, renewing their pledge to continue working in the spirit of national responsibility in a way that preserves Bahrain’s security and stability, reflects the bright civilized image of the Kingdom and enhances the values ​​of national unity and societal cohesion.
