The accident occurred on June 7 on the road of Vatan jamoat, Farkhor district, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
According to the department, 58-year-old local resident Faizali Sharifov lost control of his Hyundai Starex, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with an Opel car.
As a result, four passengers of the Opel car were seriously injured and died in the district hospital.
The dead were from 15 to 31 years old, all of them were residents of the village of Sadokat, Farkhor district.
The condition of the drivers of both vehicles is unknown.
