The selection process consisted of mathematical, psychometric and craft tests. Selected students will be divided into two daily shifts and will receive between 480 and 520 hours of instruction based on professional standards developed in Nevada, United States.
The general director of the casino, Marcelo Silva, indicated that the design of the academy took the main operations in the world as a reference. The young people will have daily transportation between the Locanda hotel and the Plaza San Fernando in Maldonado, following an agreement reached between the Cipriani Group and the passenger transport company Codesa. The firm’s general project foresees the creation of 1,200 direct jobs.
