Police are probing the murder of a man whose burnt body was discovered inside a vehicle along Moonan Road in Wallerfield over the weekend.
The body was found near Block 5, Moonan Road. Investigators believe the deceased is Clint Gomez, also known by the alias “Milky,” although official confirmation is expected pending further inquiries.
The charred remains were removed from the scene and are expected to undergo an autopsy at the Forensic Science Centre, St James.
Authorities have not disclosed additional details surrounding the circumstances of Gomez’s death as investigations continue.
