Protests in Albania against the planned project in the area of Zvernec continued for the tenth day in a row, and thousands of demonstrators in Tirana are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the cessation of all works in protected zones.
Rallying under the slogan “Albania is not for sale”, the protesters say they will continue to demonstrate until their demands are met.
Demonstrators gathered at “Skenderbeu” Square, to continue towards “Deshmoret e Kombit” boulevard, and then in front of the seat of the Office of the Prime Minister of Albania.
With national flags in their hands and banners with inscriptions against the government, the participants of the protest warned of the continuation of the protest.
In connection with this problem, similar protests have been organized in other cities of the country in recent days, while Albanians living in several European countries have also held protests.
