A resident of Struga reported to the police late last night that his wife, who was at work, left their minor children sleeping in a car in a dirt parking lot, the Ministry of the Interior said.
The children were found sleeping in the car, after which they were handed over to the father, and the mother will be held accountable, added the police.
“At night at 00:03 at OVR Struga, V.S. reported that his wife N.S. (41) left their minor children sleeping in her vehicle while she went to work. Following the authorization of the public prosecutor, police officers took measures and found the children sleeping in the vehicle parked in the dirt parking lot on “Vlado Maleski” street. The children were handed over to the father V.S. “Measures are being taken to clear up the case and after complete documentation, an appropriate report will be filed against the perpetrator,” the police bulletin reads.
