Authorities enable a reversible lane and close a section on the CA-2 Oeste, in Santa Lucía Cotzumalguapa, Escuintla, for rehabilitation work after an undermining.
The Ministry of Communications, Infrastructure and Housing, through Covial, reports that it is beginning repairs due to undermining at km 103 of the CA-2 West route, in the eastbound lane, in Santa Lucía Cotzumalguapa, Escuintla.
According to the official statement, the passage from west to east – from Cocales to Escuintla – is disabled and a reversible lane is enabled. The returns are established between kilometers 104 and 102.8, which complicates traffic in the sector.
