Colleagues’ words about Mantas Sadauskas – moving to tears: they talked about the unfulfilled plan and what it really was | Names

Colleagues of M. Sadauskas told the portal “Jūsų Panevėžys” that they remember him as a wonderful personality.

“It is very difficult for me to speak in the past tense. Mantas is a good child, a member of the team. He is both competent, friendly, calm and tactful. I have never heard him raise his voice, nor ugly or disrespectful behavior. Mantas was a good employee, a good person,” Rūta Ramoškienė, director of the Panevėžys branch of the GPM service, told the aforementioned publication.

His colleague Kamilė, an emergency specialist, also gives a warm response to the deceased.

“Mantas was a wonderful person. Extremely hardworking, intelligent, he always helped us. He took great care of his children, he loved them immensely. You could always ask him something – he would give advice. He gave advice both about sports and nutrition – he could adjust it to everyone. He was truly a wonderful person. It’s a shame,” she said.

Mantas joined the ambulance service almost three years ago. Until then, he worked at the Panevėžys district ambulance. He then joined the team together with his ex-wife, who is currently suspected of his murder, Justina Gaigalaite.

“I don’t know if they were a couple then. <...> It’s hard to say, because I don’t start communicating well with new people from the first day. They both came to work from the district,” said R. Ramoškienė, adding that Justina is still officially an employee of GMP. True, her workload is extremely low – about 12 hours a month.

According to his colleagues, Mantas was known as a promoter of a healthy lifestyle, who often initiated sports events in the team.

“Mantas was an athlete. He was a strong man – he didn’t drink alcohol at all, he didn’t smoke. We have such a tradition of organizing sports games in the summer – he used to organize them. One of the main games was arm wrestling. And this year we planned those games with him,” the head of GPM told “Jūsų Panevėžys”.

    Three suspects

Prosecutors investigating the high-profile case of the kidnapping and murder of 31-year-old paramedic Mantas Sadauskas sought court sanctions on Thursday to keep all three suspects in isolation from the public after the 48-hour detention period.

First of all, the Panevėžys district court decided on the strictest pretrial measures for both men – the son and his father. The son was asked to be arrested for the maximum term, and in the case of the father, for a month.

    He was beaten to death

The suspects of this horrific crime are suspected of having lured M. Sadauskas into a trap and deprived him of his freedom. The place where it happened has not yet been determined.

The suspects are charged with the murder of M. Sadauskas.15 minutes he was reportedly hit on the head and other parts of the body. M. Sadauskas was brutally beaten before his death and died from his injuries.

15 minutes according to the data, in the accusation against Vilis Solkans, it is indicated that he acted together with Justina Sadauskiene (the divorce process has not yet ended, but the woman has already introduced herself to Gaigalait, – ed. post). The paramedic suffered an unspecified number of blows to the head, face, legs, arms and other parts of the body, resulting in multiple injuries and bruising, from which he died. There is no mention of the use of a weapon in this suspicion.
