The host of the evening, Andrius Janušauskas, without hiding his pleasant surprise, greeted him with words.
“It’s nice that you came all the way from Vilnius to Kaunas to see what’s happening here,” he told the guest.
The magic of Kaunas, American cars and Deivydas Zvonkus on the roof
Stan did not hide that Kaunas evokes special feelings for him.
“This is where your soul comes alive,” he said.
The microphone connection problems at the beginning of the evening did not surprise him. He knew exactly the reason.
“Apparently Zvonkus is landing somewhere on the roof and is disrupting the connection,” Stano joked.
Of course, he added that his soul is primarily revived by American cars – and there was no shortage of them in the Classic Car Loft space that evening.
The biggest secret of the season is revealed in Kaunas
The main intrigue of the evening, which Stano revealed, was not related to music or politics – but to the wedding. The guest spoke publicly for the first time that the Classic Car Loft workshop is currently in a hurry to prepare a very special car. Turns out, Stan has known for a long time what kind of car he wanted to drive to his wedding.
“It was a ’59 Cadillac that I wanted – it’s such a rare model,” he revealed.
Šarūnas Žitkevičius, the founder of Classic Car Loft, has such a car, and now his goal is to finish preparing it before Stan’s wedding, which is planned for this summer. Time is short and vintage cars are never in a hurry. Stano knows this first hand.
“It looks like everything is done, you start it and it doesn’t start. It could be all kinds of things,” he said.
In order to get into the spirit of the event, Stano also presented his automotive theory of aesthetics. It is simple, bold and completely uncomfortable for fans of Italian supercars.
“The ones that are ugly are Ferraris and Lamborghinis. Everyone else is American and beautiful,” he declared.
The artist says that if everything goes well, his wedding is planned for the end of summer.
Pet friendly confirmation and thanks to the organizers
After the conversation with Stano, the host greeted another unexpected guest – “Kikas” co-owner Taura Plunge. A. Janušauskas immediately noticed that Tauros’ participation automatically confirms the “pet friendly” status of the event – the guest is famous for his love for animals. It was Tauras who expressed the warmest words of the evening to the organizers of the event.
“Regards to Šarūnas, cool guy, great event here, it has attracted so many people, amazing cars. I really wish it would be an annual traditional event,” said T. Plungė.
