    The President of the National Council embarks on a field tour to the regional offices in the states


    Laayoune Province, May 6, 2026 (SPS) – Today, Wednesday, member of the National Secretariat and President of the National Council, Mr. Bashir Mustafa Al-Sayed, embarked on a field tour to the regional offices in the states, within the framework of following up on the work of the regional offices and strengthening coordination with the state councils. The first leg of the state of Laayoune began, which began with a meeting with the regional office at its headquarters.

    During the visit, the regional office presented a detailed report on the progress of its work and activities, and the most prominent concerns raised in the fields of security, water, environment, education, health, and prices of basic consumer goods.

    In the second leg of the tour, the President of the National Council held an expanded meeting with the State Council, where the State Governor, Mr. Al-Ghouth Mamouni, welcomed the President of the National Council and his accompanying delegation, presenting a comprehensive briefing on the general situation of the state and the reality of basic services, highlighting the large population density of the state and the general state of stability in various sectors.

    For his part, the President of the National Council gave a briefing on the latest developments in the national issue, warning of the need to be vigilant about the dangers existing at this stage.

    He stressed the necessity of accompanying the regional and local authorities to implement programs and plans, ensuring that the problems facing citizens are resolved, and ensuring the provision of basic services, most notably security, water, health, and education.

    It should be noted that the visit comes with the aim of supporting and accompanying field work, and good preparation before preparing the detailed calendar for the agenda of the spring session 2026.
    The President of the National Council is accompanied by the Vice-President of the Council and the Secretary-General of the Council. (SPA)
