The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, came to the defense of Ilir Meta again today, who appeared a few days ago in the glass cage during a session at GJKKO.
Berisha referred to one of SPAK’s accusations against Meta for using two credit cards in the name of a relative of Monika Kryemadhi.
“I am not Meta’s lawyer, but they sent a letter to the USA to investigate credit cards, as they say that this (Meta) and Monika used 2 credit cards of her cousin. There are witnesses and facts that Ilir Meta has never used a credit card, neither in Albania, nor abroad. She used her cousin’s card. The one that her cousin has. They are deceiving that they used 2 cards”declared Berisha.
