A Galway man who was told he was unlikely to walk again, is set to embark on a landmark fundraising journey for Spinal Injuries Ireland (SII) by walking coast-to-coast in the USA in just 75 days.
Fergus Farrell was given a 5pc chance of walking again after a freak spinal cord injury in 2018 while moving a heavy metal bench. However, he defied the odds and has taken part in several daring challenges since, with the latest set to be his biggest yet.
