VINLEC launches Environmental Health and Safety Awareness Month

ST.VINCENT ELECTRICITY Services Limited (VINLEC), launched their annual Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Awareness Month on April 27, 2026 at the Kingstown Baptist Church under the theme “Unmute, Unblock, Unwind:Your Personal Safety Begins with a Healthy Mind”.

This ceremony marked the beginning of a monthlong series of events aimed at educating, engaging, and empowering staff and communities to examine how open dialogue and prioritizing wellbeing can help build safer and healthier EHS practices.

During the ceremony, Communications Officer Bria King, said that EHS month is an important fixture on their company’s calendar because it gives the workers time to pause, refocus and recommit to the things that matter most.

And these “…are our safety, our health, our environment and the well being of the people who make this organization work every day this year…”.
