The process for the election of the head of the Democratic Party, the Korçë branch, has been accompanied by tensions and debates, which has led to the interruption of the process twice.
Even though it restarted, after an interruption of more than two hours, the debates have not been absent.
The conflict developed because of the list of voters, as there are people who complained that they could not find their name. In the ongoing debate, the voter lists were also torn.
In the first interruption of the process, the commissioners took the ballot boxes and left the premises of the party headquarters.
The political leader of the district, Ivi Kaso, reacted by clarifying that there was no clash, but a temporary blockage of the process. According to him, there have been attempts to vote by people who do not appear in the DP membership lists.
