According to the online economy report, the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the United Nations explained the official positions of Tehran in response to the joint letter of Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Jordan addressed to the United Nations and the Security Council.
Iran’s representative in the United Nations announced that these countries have participated in the aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran through the bases located on their soil, from which fire and airstrikes against Iran have been launched.
He emphasized: Iran has used its legitimate right to defend itself in response to this aggression; A right recognized in the United Nations Charter and enforced in response to aggression.
The representative of Iran also stated: The Islamic Republic of Iran has not initiated the conflict and military operations and is not considered the initiator of the war.
He added: The countries that participated in this aggression or allowed the use of their bases, airspace, waters and territories to attack Iran are responsible and should be audited and held accountable.
He further pointed out that the inability of the Security Council to condemn this aggression and determine the aggressor has played a role in encouraging the aggressors to continue hostile actions.
The representative of Iran also emphasized: The Islamic Republic of Iran demands that Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Jordan take full responsibility for compensating the damages caused to Iran.
