All documents required for the extradition of former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski have been submitted to the Ministry of Justice, for television Thelma confirmed by the Criminal Court where they are currently still being conducted, but there are already completed trials against the accused and the convicted asylum seeker.
They asked Pravda to submit to the court all the changes that could affect the extradition procedure, for which they received the necessary answers.
And the Minister of Justice Igor Filkov confirmed two days ago that the formation of the new government in Hungary, the country where Gruevski fled, is awaited, so that the institutions there are notified that Macedonia is interested in returning the refugee, who by the way has political asylum.
The government in Hungary is to be constituted on May 9, Europe Day.
By the way, after the convincing victory in the elections, the man who is expected to become the new Prime Minister of Hungary, Peter Magyar, announced at a press conference the extradition of Nikola Gruevski and pointed out that Hungary will not be a dumping ground for foreign criminals.
However, in an interview with “360 degrees”, the lawyer from the Helsinki Committee of Hungary, Zolt Sekeres, said that a person’s refugee status is subject to review every three years. A review can also be initiated in an extraordinary manner, but in that case it takes several months to make a final decision, regardless of the Hungarian policy and announcements.
