A road traffic accident involving a truck and several cars took place in the city of Angren, Tashkent region. is reporting IIBB of the region.
The incident happened on April 26 around 23:10 at the 93rd kilometer of the A373 highway. The driver of the Howo truck (1995 yt) RN lost control while driving and collided with 4 transport vehicles in the same direction.
As a result, the 51-year-old driver IX and the 40-year-old passenger ZT, who were in the Sobalt car, died at the scene.
The 4 people in the remaining vehicles were taken to the medical center with various injuries.
Currently, a criminal case has been opened by the Investigative Department of the IIBB of the Tashkent region under Article 266, Part 3, Clause “a” of the Criminal Code, and the driver of the Howo truck has been detained in procedural order.

On September 7, 2025, a traffic accident involving 8 vehicles took place in the city of Angren, Tashkent region, on the 93rd kilometer of the A-373 “Tashkent-Osh” international highway. As a result, 11 people died and 5 people were hospitalized with various injuries was laid.

Also, in May 2021, another tragic traffic accident occurred on approximately the same section of the A-373 highway. At that time, a MAN trailer truck, which was moving on the Namangan-Tashkent route, lost control and hit seven cars, and one of the cars caught fire as a result of the collision.
As a result of the accident, 7 people died on the spot, and 14 others were injured in various degrees.
