Tyrell Timothy Cumberbatch, 29, of #2 Golden Rock, Pine, St Michael, has been identified as the man shot and killed during an incident at Meadow Road, Wildey, on Wednesday morning.
Police say preliminary investigations revealed that Cumberbatch was part of a group working in the area when he was approached by a lone assailant dressed in a white hazmat suit, who opened fire. He sustained injuries and died at the scene.
A medical doctor later examined the body and pronounced death.
