Miralem Redžepagić, a member of the OO Bosniak Party Plav, spoke about the text published on the Analitika portal entitled “Thank you Bosniak Party”, by our columnist Alek Barović.
“I feel an obligation to address the public, and especially our Bosniak people, members, sympathizers and voters of the Bosniak Party. At a time when political stability, national unity and responsible action are more important than ever, we are witnessing attempts to discredit and weaken the Bosniak Party. Such attacks are not only aimed at one political party, but also at the free voice of Bosniaks in Montenegro,” says Redžepagić.
He says that the Bosniak Party was not created out of personal interests, nor does it exist because of functions and privileges.
It arose, Redžepagić adds, from the need for the Bosniak people to have an authentic, dignified and strong political voice – a voice that protects our identity, culture, language, religion and the right to equal participation in all social and political processes.
“When such individuals cannot dispute our results, they try to dispute our intentions. When they cannot diminish our contribution, they resort to insults and manipulations. Our response must be dignified, calm and decisive. That’s why I say to the Bosniaks in Montenegro,” says Redžepagić.
He says that Bosniaks are not a large number, but by the strength of their spirit.
“Our true power is not in noise, but in dignity; it is not in divisions, but in unity. A nation that preserves its name, its language, its faith and its honor, can never be weak. Our strength is that we stay together when they want to divide us, that we stay upright when they want to shake us, and that we believe in each other when others doubt us.
That’s why. We will continue to fight with arguments, work and results, because our goal is not division, but progress; not conflict, but communion; it is not the interest of an individual, but the welfare of the entire people of Montenegro,” concluded Redžepagić.
