ASCO Motors Fiji has appointed Ajitesh Prasad as its general manager Sales and Marketing.
Mr Prasad previously held the role of general manager Corporate Services and company secretary, contributing significantly to corporate governance and organisational effectiveness.
In his new role, Mr Prasad will lead the sales and marketing function, with responsibility for sales performance, marketing activities, product performance and customer engagement.
The company board acknowledged his contributions in his previous roles, and said it looked forward to his continued leadership and support for the company in his new management role.
Mr Prasad’s new appointment comes into effect on April 1 this year.
Meanwhile, the company also announced the appointment of manager Legal Priscilla Singh as the new company secretary.
Ms Singh will undertake the role in addition to her current responsibilities.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Professional Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of the South Pacific; and has more than 10 years of legal experience across both public sector and private practice roles.
Prior to joining the company, she served in the Office of the Attorney-General in Fiji from 2017 to 2023, including as principal legal officer where she provided legal and policy advice, handled litigation matters, negotiated commercial projects and transactions, and drafted and reviewed contracts and legislation.
She also previously worked in private practice as a solicitor with Lateef & Lateef Lawyers and M.A. Khan Esquires.
Her appointment also comes into effect on April 1.
