It happened a moment ago at the Beijing International Film Festival in China: a jury presided over by French actress Juliette Binoche awarded the Fairby Teresa Villaverde, the prize for Best Artistic Contribution and Madalena Cunha, a 13-year-old girl (she was 10 at the time of filming), born in Caldas da Rainha, who plays the film’s title character, the Award for best Supporting Actress — the awards in this important Asian festival are called the Tiantan Awards.
