Rama promises that the compensation of damaged businesses will start, accuses that “foreign and dirty hands” are destroying

The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, has reacted again to the protest, publishing footage from a damaged business and promising to reimburse the entities that suffered damage during the gatherings. He announced that 10 groups from Taxation will be set up to verify damages in small businesses in Tirana, while he said that through the e-Albania platform, a window will be created where entities can register damages and submit the relevant documentation.
Rama said that the government will help the affected businesses, while he also addressed the students who have come out in protest, stating that their voice will be heard with respect. However, he emphasized that he will not allow the safety of citizens to be jeopardized.
“Don’t worry. We will do it for them! We will do verifications. We have prepared a window that will appear today on E-Albania. It is called My Damage and here you can register, giving the person’s identity and NIPT and email, phone, data and area and the insurance company if you have it. Then you will upload the documents that are the images, along with any supporting documentation you have, invoices. You will also see the relationship you have with the state, payments and obligations. After we do the verifications and collect a register of damages, we will help you all. From today, the small business that has been damaged by the violence of the hand, there is a window to help them. We will be on the ground to collect the data on the small business in Tirana, and we will return these ruins to success as the engine of the first, as the impetus to move forward. The voice of the youth who needs to protest, will be heard with respect. I will not allow it to be jeopardized by those dirty hands, nor by those foreign hands. It is my responsibility to protect our citizens this majority government, which has a clear mandate, that of Albania in 2030,” he said.
