Dominica’s passport ranks ninth among 14 countries in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) passport standings, according to Passport Reports data available for the 16 October 2026 edition, with a global position of 59th.
The Passport Reports CARICOM ranking places Saint Lucia in eighth position and Belize in tenth, on either side of Dominica. Barbados tops the group in first place. The comparison concerns the passports’ international travel access, not any automatic right to visa-free travel arising from CARICOM membership.
Passport Reports is an independent research and publishing platform presenting passport reports for 199 countries in 34 languages. It publishes its ranking criteria and applies the same assessment rules to all passports, allowing readers to scrutinise how the results are produced. Its global rankings reflect the combined number of destinations accessible without a visa, with an electronic travel authorisation or with a visa on arrival. Where totals match, visa-free access is compared first, followed by electronic travel authorisation and then visa-on-arrival access; passports equal on all measures share the same world ranking.
