The chief prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution in Prizren, Petrit Kryeziu, has announced that material evidence and video recordings have been obtained in connection with the case of death that was reported in the media as a stabbing.
Kryeziu explained to Klankosova.tv that in the footage obtained from the scene, the victim is seen falling to the ground alone, while investigations are continuing to fully clarify the circumstances of the case.
“Regarding the reports in the media that the case is related to slaughter, we clarify that the Prosecutor’s Office has secured material evidence from the scene, including video recordings, in which the victim is seen falling to the ground alone”, Kryeziu stated.
He announced that relevant units of the Kosovo Police, forensics teams, the Institute of Forensic Medicine and the guardian prosecutor are at the scene.
According to the chief prosecutor, the relevant institutions are undertaking investigative actions to clarify the circumstances of the event and to determine the cause of death.
“Investigations are continuing to fully clarify the circumstances of the case and the cause of death”, Kryeziu emphasized.
